Founded in May 1991 in Kiev under the name AB "AvtoZAZbank" by 2005 th head office moved to Kiev. In late 2007, a group of NEST, at that time controlled the lending institution, has decided to sell the bank as a non-core asset group Cypriot Bank of Cyprus. The transaction was completed in May 2008, the acquisition of 97.2% stake in the bank, the multiplier sales totaled 3.75. To date, a universal bank providing classic banking services to individuals, small, medium and corporate business.

The Bank has a sales network consisting of 36 offices in 9 regions of Ukraine. It belongs to the group 4 to total assets (4-classification of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), this indicator is 64 th in the country (third place in the group.)

According to the NBU, on 01.04.2011 the total assets of the Bank of Cyprus at 2.3 billion hryvnia (8.1 billion). The loan portfolio, consisting of 66% of loans to legal entities, forms 78% of total assets. Reservation - about 11.5% compared to 9% in 2009. Rest of the volume form investments in liquid assets - 15%.

Form the bulk of liabilities due to other banks in foreign currency - about 47%. Funds of individuals and entities together form 19% of liabilities. On total capital accounts for 27% of liabilities.

In 2010, the profit was $ 1.1 million hryvnia (4.1 million) against earnings for 2009 of $ 2.1 million hryvnia (7.5 million). On this indicator, I quarter of 2011, the bank took the 84th place in the country with a score of 0.35 million hryvnia (1.2 million).
